Soldier in Germany

The year is 1972. The location: Cold War West Germany. The surrounding world, meanwhile, is either on fire with protest and terrorism, or sliding into nuclear Armageddon between the two new superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union. Perhaps the worst time and place and circumstance for a mind-and-body shattered American soldier to encounter that most mysterious nemesis, as beautiful as she is troubled.
